In the heart of the Wiltshire Downs some twenty miles north of Stonehenge is the town of Avebury. Here you will find the largest known stone ring in the world. Older than the more famous Stonehenge, the site actually consists of several circles within circles. Cloaked in mystery, which archaeologists have only just begun to unravel.

Where can you see an original copy of the Magna Carta, or the oldest working church clock in Britain, or the highest spire in the UK? The answer to these question is Salisbury Cathedral.
